The deal, in plain words

Ract turns your live sales into tray assignments and printed labels, and charges you a credit for each order it captures. These are the terms you accept by creating an account or using the service. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Who you are dealing with

Ract is operated by Olive Tree Trading Ltd, trading as Ract.io, a company registered in England, of Unit 68 Basepoint, Shearway Business Park, Folkestone, Kent, England, CT19 4RH. “We” and “us” below means that company. For anything on this page, write to support@ract.io.

What Ract is, and is not

Ract is a tool for sellers. It reads the sales from your own live stream, in your own browser, works out which tray each buyer’s items go in, and prints the labels. It does not sell anything, take payment from your buyers, or ship a parcel.Ract is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Whatnot Inc. or any other platform it reads from, and their names and trademarks belong to them. Whatever agreement you have with the platform you sell on stands on its own; these terms sit alongside it and do not change it.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and selling on your own account. One account is for one person or one business; if you run several shop usernames, they belong on the one Ract account, not on several.You are responsible for what happens under your login. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away at support@ract.io if you think someone else has it. We will never ask you for it.Connect only a shop that is yours. Ract reads sale events from the tab you are signed in to, so it can only ever see what you can see — but using it on somebody else’s account without their permission is a breach of these terms and of theirs.

Credits and paying for them

One credit per order captured. Not per label: if a printer jams and you reprint, that is our problem, not yours. An order that is voided or cancelled is refunded in full, automatically. Card identification on a card show costs more per order, and the rate is shown before you turn it on.Credits never expire. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel — a balance sits there until you sell. New accounts get a welcome balance once, tied to the shop username that claims it; a username that has claimed it cannot claim it again on another account.The price of a top-up is the price shown when you buy it, and your invoice says whether VAT is charged and at what rate. Bought credits are not refundable as money, except where the law gives you that right or where we have made a billing mistake, which we will put right. If we ever change what a credit costs, the change applies to top-ups after the change, never to a balance you already hold.

What we promise, and what we do not

We will work hard to capture every sale, keep your shows safe on our server, and be straight with you when something goes wrong. What we cannot promise is that every sale is captured every time: Ract depends on your browser, your connection, the platform’s own stream and your printer, and any of them can fail during a show. You are responsible for checking your orders against the platform before you ship — Ract is there to make that faster, not to replace it.Ract is offered as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available at any particular time, that it will work with every printer, or that a feature will stay exactly as it is — this is a young product and it changes. We will tell you about changes that matter, and a change to these terms is dated at the top of this page.To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a sale that was not captured, a parcel sent to the wrong buyer, an item packed in the wrong tray, a missed cut-off, or any loss of profit or business that follows from using or being unable to use Ract. Where we are liable, our total liability to you for everything arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything the law does not allow to be limited.

Fair use

Use Ract for your own selling. Do not share your login, resell access, or use it to read another seller’s sales. Do not interfere with the extension, the service, or another seller’s use of it, and do not try to get around a limit or a charge. If we think an account is being used in a way that harms the service or other sellers, we can suspend it while we talk to you, and close it if it continues.

Your data, and your buyers’

What Ract reads, keeps and sends is set out in full in our privacy policy, and that page is part of these terms. In short: your shows — buyer usernames, item names and prices — are stored against your account, nobody but you and us can see them, and we read them to run the service and work out your bill. For your buyers’ details you are the controller and we act on your instructions.

Leaving

You can close your account at any time from Settings, and you can download your data first: your shows and the sales in them, your credit statement and your settings, in one plain file. Closing removes your shows, clears your settings and signs you out everywhere. Charges already made stay on our books as the law requires — kept against the account with the names on them removed — and your shop username stays recorded as having claimed its welcome credits. There is no undo.We can close an account that breaches these terms, or that has been empty and unused for a long time, and we will write to you first unless the breach makes that unsafe.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — but we would much rather you emailed us first. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Ract.
